Project Udaan was started by three changemakers — Ramkrishan Rawat, Vedant Poddar, and Mrityunjay Singh Rajawat — We as a team recognized the gap between the immense potential of persons with disabilities and the lack of opportunities available to them. We believed that while mobility solutions like prosthetics can restore physical movement, true empowerment comes only when individuals are able to earn, build careers, and live with dignity. With this vision, Project Udaan was born — to bridge the gap between ability and opportunity.
Our mission is to provide persons with disabilities with access to meaningful employment opportunities that restore dignity, independence, and confidence. We believe that every individual has the right to contribute to society, and we work to ensure that no disability becomes a barrier to livelihood.
Employment is more than a source of income — it is a pathway to self-respect, identity, and independence. By connecting persons with disabilities to jobs, Project UdaAN is not only helping them provide for their families but also enabling them to take their rightful place in society. The impact goes beyond a paycheck: it builds confidence, breaks social stigma, and creates long-term change by proving that ability, not disability, defines a person's future.
